Q. No I. Did you ever use LINUX operating system? Which operating system is better windows or LINUX?

Yes. I've been using Linux based operating systems since 2014. I started off with OpenSUSE. And now I'm a proud Manjaro user. Been using it for three years now. I think the question was… have you ever used a Linux based operating on the other hand, Windows offers great ease of use, so that even non-tech-savvy people can work easily on personal computers. Primary memory is the main memory and stores data temporarily. Secondary memory is the external memory and stores data permanently. The CPU can directly access the data. The CPU cannot directly access the data.

Primary memory is temporary. Secondary memory is permanent. Primary memory is directly accessible by Processor/CPU. Secondary memory is not directly accessible by the CPU.

Q.No.3 Define software. What is the basic difference between software and hardware? Who is responsible to operate hardware of a computer? Discuss.

software, instructions that tell a computer what to do. Software comprises the entire set of programs, procedures, and routines associated with the operation of a computer system. The term was coined to differentiate these instructions from hardware—i.e., the physical components of a computer system.

When it comes to computers, the hardware is the physical and tangible part, like the monitor, keyboard, and speakers. Software is the programs and operating systems that need to be installed.

Motherboard. This is a printed circuit board that holds the central processing unit (CPU) and other essential internal hardware and functions as the central hub that all other hardware components run through.

Q.No.4 What are different methods of measuring computer memory? Explain with the help of an example.

Memory is also used by a computer's operating system, hardware and software. There are technically two types of computer memory: primary and secondary. The term memory is used as a synonym for primary memory or as an abbreviation for a specific type of primary memory called random access memory (RAM). Computer storage and memory is often measured in megabytes (MB) and gigabytes (GB). A medium-sized novel contains about 1 MB of information. 1 MB is 1,024 kilobytes, or 1,048,576 (1024x1024) bytes, not one million bytes. Similarly, one 1 GB is 1,024 MB, or 1,073,741,824 (1024x1024x1024) bytes.
